Your Data Belongs to You
You own all information you enter into FlatRate Pro, including job logs, work history, goals, performance metrics, and certifications. FlatRate Pro is simply the secure workspace you use to organize and showcase that data.
- Export, download, or delete your information at any time.
- Students keep ownership of their records when FlatRate Pro is used in classrooms or training programs.
- Parents or authorized educational institutions can request data access, export, or deletion as required by FERPA, COPPA, or other applicable laws.
- Deletion requests can be sent to support@jessrecruiting.com.
What We Collect
We only collect the data necessary to operate and improve the platform.
Account Information
- Email address (personal or school-issued)
- Optional profile details such as name, school or training institution, and profile photo
Work History and Skills Data
- Repair and diagnostic records, vehicle information, job notes, and labor times
- Goals, certifications, instructor feedback, and progress reports
Optional Voice Data (Total Voice Feature)
- Audio is recorded only while you actively record a job entry.
- Audio is used exclusively for speech-to-text conversion and deleted immediately after transcription.
Payment Information
- Payments for optional premium features are processed through Stripe.
- Jess Recruiting LLC never stores credit or debit card numbers.
Users Under 18
- Users under 18 must have parent, guardian, or institution approval before making purchases.
- Users under 13 may only use FlatRate Pro with an account created or authorized by a parent, guardian, or school.
Voice Recording Policy — Important
- Voice recordings are used only to convert speech to text for job documentation.
- Audio recordings are not stored after transcription. Only the converted text remains with the job entry.
- The transcription service receives the audio temporarily and deletes it immediately after conversion.
- Voice data is not used to train AI models or for advertising.
Aggregated Analytics (Not Your Personal Data)
Jess Recruiting LLC may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the platform.
- Personal names, email addresses, student identifiers, and VIN numbers are not included in analytics.
- Aggregated metrics may include statistics such as average efficiency or feature adoption.
- Individual job logs or student records are never accessed or shared without consent.
Where We Store It
- Data is stored in secure Google Firebase data centers located in the United States.
- Temporary copies may be cached on the user’s device for performance and offline access.
- Practices align with Arizona Revised Statutes § 15-1046 regarding student data privacy and reasonable protections.
How We Use Your Data
- Operate and maintain accounts, dashboards, and analytics.
- Provide educational tools to instructors, mentors, or institutions when authorized.
- Enable secure voice-to-text transcription.
- Process payments for optional premium features.
- Improve platform performance using aggregated, anonymized data.
- Provide technical support when requested.
FlatRate Pro does not sell user data or use it for advertising or behavioral targeting.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We never sell personal or student data. Limited information is shared with trusted providers strictly to run the service.

Each provider receives only the minimum data required, must protect it, and is prohibited from advertising use or AI model training.
Your Rights and Choices
- Download job logs and performance history directly from the app.
- Request correction or deletion of data, or full account deletion, by emailing support@jessrecruiting.com.
- Decline optional features such as Total Voice.
- Withdraw consent at any time if consent was provided by a parent, guardian, or institution.
- When FlatRate Pro is used through an educational institution, requests may be routed through that institution consistent with FERPA and COPPA.
Data Security
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
- Role-based access controls limit internal system access.
- Secure Google Firebase infrastructure with monitoring and authentication safeguards.
- Stripe handles all payment transactions under PCI-DSS compliance.
Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data remains while the account is active.
- Deleted accounts: Data is removed within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
- Backups: Encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days solely for disaster recovery.
- Voice recordings: Audio used for transcription is deleted immediately after conversion.
- Educational institutions can request expedited deletion to meet policy or legal obligations.
Data Breach Notification
- We will notify affected users and, when applicable, educational partners within 72 hours of confirming a breach or as otherwise required by law.
- Notifications will outline affected data, corrective actions, and ways to request support.
Changes to This Policy
- This policy may be updated as the platform evolves or laws change.
- The “Last Updated” date at the top of the page reflects revisions.
- Material changes affecting user or student rights will be communicated to users and institutions in advance when possible.
